Villaseñor Romo Abogados was founded in 1984 by Fernando Villaseñor Romo, after having collaborated in various renowned law firms both as consultant, lawyer and supervisor. The creation of the law firm was due to Mr. Villaseñor’s intention to provide companies with a tailored and more personal service, a project shared by those whom he supervised and trained, people which followed him in this plan. 

Due to Mr. Villaseñor’s efforts and that of those who believed in the project, the practice grew until it became what is now a highly respected and renowned law firm which provides great companies not only with specialized and in-depth legal counsel in labor matters, but also with the legal confidence needed to continue their growth in national and international markets.

At the present time, with more than 35 years of experience, our law practice brings together the expertise of Mr. Fernando Villaseñor Romo, acquired with time and effort, and the new ideas of modern times brought forth by Fernando and Rodrigo Villaseñor Rodríguez in their respective fields of expertise, resulting in a better and more complete service to our clients.

Our law firm provides companies both national and international with legal law counsel. Our goal is to deliver to our clients all the necessary information regarding their rights and obligations as employers in Mexico without incurring in unnecessary expenses and procedures. Our expertise has been recognized both by governmental and private entities, the former by considering some of our partners as worthy of representing government interests and the latter by granting our partners with various awards and titles.

We are aware of the challenges that each case involves and are always eager to furnish our clients with the best solution possible, accompanying them in each step towards it. Being a specialized law firm we constantly update our knowledge base with the latest judicial rulings and most innovative labor operation models  in order to provide our clients with the best counselling possible, some of our partners have even pioneered the legal development in our country of the new labor schemes and regulations, such as telecommuting, or the adaptation of concepts alien to the Mexican legal framework.

Our main offices are located in Mexico City, nevertheless, with time we have forged alliances with other law practices throughout the country in order to provide assistance to our clients in any place in Mexico taking into consideration the local legal standards and circumstances that may affect any court decision or conflict resolution.

Giving back to the community

Likewise, our partners are always looking to give back to the community, and therefore, they participate as lecturers in different forums, both national and international, as well as teach in the best law schools in our country.
